At Tread, all our truck bodies are built in house, from the ground up. This process can take anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks. A consistently full shop schedule makes it challenging to always be flexible and reactive for our customers, but that is exactly what we did for a company that reached out in need of a replacement bulk truck FAST this summer.

With the ability to do get their jobs done weighing in the balance – we got to work. Squeezing a MP700 Treadbed build into an already packed shop. Fast forward 7 weeks later, we had their bulk truck built, tested, and ready to drive off the lot. Equipped with our intuitive & robust control system Spartan.

Spartan is the latest control system from Tread Corporation. Based off our Axiom control system, Spartan is a light weight system that meets all requirements for ANFO, Blend, and Pumper style trucks. And if data logging is required, it can easily be upgraded to the parent control system Axiom. It’s Engineered for simplicity in construction, operation, and troubleshooting. This not only makes it easy to use, but easy to fix, helping minimize your trucks downtime on site.

This customer needed a small, single gas additive, emulsion pumper truck, with simple to use, accurate controls. Based off that criteria, we determined the best fit for their needs would be this custom Treadbed Mini-Pumper 700 style truck equipped with Spartan controls.
